Hadith 5465

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade a man from applying saffron (or wearing saffron-colored clothing).
