Hadith 5443

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، وَالْحَوْضِيُّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جَرَّ ثِيَابَهُ مِنْ مَخِيلَةٍ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever lets his garment hang down out of arrogance, Allah Almighty will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection."
