Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I entered Paradise, and there was a palace made of gold. I asked: Whose palace is this? The angels replied: It belongs to a man from the Quraysh. I thought perhaps it was mine, so I asked: Whose is it? It was said: It is Umar bin Al-Khattab's." (Then the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him:) O Abu Hafs! If I had not considered your sense of honor, I would have entered it. Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: O Messenger of Allah! I may become angry with anyone, but I can never be angry with you.
