أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " فِيَّ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ ، شَرِبْتُ مَعَ قَوْمٍ ، ذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَرَّمَ ، فَضَرَبَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفِي بِلَحْيِ جَمَلٍ ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَحْرِيمَ الْخَمْرِ ، قَالَ : وَأَصَبْتُ سَيْفًا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَزَلَتْ : يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ قُلِ الأَنْفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ سورة الأنفال آية 1 " .
Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrates from his father: The command regarding the prohibition of alcohol was revealed about me. I was drinking alcohol with some people; this was before alcohol was declared unlawful. One of them struck my nose with a camel's bone. I went to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and mentioned this incident to him. Then Allah revealed the command regarding the prohibition of alcohol.
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Badr, I found a sword. I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about it, so this verse was revealed: "They ask you about the spoils of war. Say: The spoils belong to Allah and His Messenger."
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Badr, I found a sword.
