Hadith 5344

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ السُّحَيْمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ : النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ " ، أَبُو كَثِيرٍ : يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wine is made from these two trees: dates and grapes." The narrator named Abu Kathir is Yazid bin Abdur Rahman bin Uzaynah.
