Hadith 531

أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْقَزَّازُ أَبُو عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي أُوتَى فَأُسْأَلُ ، وَيُطْلَبُ إِلَيَّ الْحَاجَةُ ، وَأَنْتُمْ عِنْدِي ، فَاشْفَعُوا ، فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا ، وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا أَحَبَّ أَوْ مَا شَاءَ " ، قَالَ الشَّيْخُ : ابْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ أَرَادَ بِهِ ابْنَ ابْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : وَهُوَ بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, I have been given (wealth and property), so people ask from me and seek their needs from me, and you people are with me. You should intercede, you will be rewarded for it. Allah Almighty, through the tongue of His Prophet, decides whatever He likes and whatever He wills." The Sheikh says: The narrator named Ibn Abu Burdah mentioned in this narration refers to the son of Ibn Abu Burdah. Imam Abu Hatim says: He is Buraid bin Abdullah bin Abu Burdah bin Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him).
