Hadith 5291

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ كُرَاعٌ ، لَقَبِلْتُهُ ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ إِلَيْهِ ، لأَجَبْتُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "If I am given a foreleg as a gift, I will accept it, and if I am invited to it, I will accept the invitation."
