Hadith 5277

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَصَابُوا حُمُرًا ، فَذَبَحُوهَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ " .
Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Those people were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), they found some donkeys and slaughtered them, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Turn over the pots.
