Hadith 5244

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَمَرَّ بِقَدْرٍ لِبَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ فِيهَا لَحْمٌ يُطْبَخُ ، فَنَاوَلَهُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْهَا كَتِفًا ، فَأَكَلَهَا وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a servant of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the house of one of his noble wives where meat was being cooked in a pot. One of them offered the meat of the foreleg from that meat to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it while standing. Then he performed prayer and did not perform ablution again.
