Hadith 5243

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَزَرِيِّ يَزِيدِ بْنِ عُطَارِدً ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَشْرَبُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ قِيَامٌ ، وَنَأْكُلُ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to drink while standing and would eat something while running.
