Hadith 5241

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ خَتٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجُبْنَةٍ مِنْ تَبُوكَ ، فَدَعَا بِسِكِّينٍ ، فَسَمَّى ، وَقَطَعَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Cheese was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from Tabuk. He asked for a knife, mentioned the name of Allah, and cut it.
