Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: His maternal aunt presented clarified butter, cheese, and lizard to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) ate the clarified butter and cheese, but did not eat the lizard; he did not like it. Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: It was eaten on the dining mat of the Prophet (peace be upon him); if it had been forbidden, it would not have been eaten on his dining mat.
