Hadith 5177

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارِ الرَّمَادِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُحْشَ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ وَالْمُتَفَحِّشَ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ هِيَ الظُّلُمَاتُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ فَإِنَّ الشُّحَّ دَعَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ ، فَسَفَكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ وَقَطَعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Avoid obscene speech, for Allah Almighty does not like the one who is obscene and foul-mouthed. And avoid oppression, for oppression will appear as darknesses on the Day of Resurrection. And avoid miserliness, for miserliness invited those before you, so they shed each other's blood and violated the rights of kinship because of it."
