Hadith 5109

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ طِيبٌ ، فَلا يَرُدَّهُ ، فَإِنَّهُ خَفِيفُ الْمَحْمَلِ ، طَيِّبُ الرَّائِحَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When someone is presented with perfume, he should not refuse it, because its weight is not much and its fragrance is pure."
