Hadith 506

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ، فَلا يُؤْذِي جَارَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ، فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ " قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ : سَلامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، وَأَبُو حُصَيْنٍ : عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، وَأَبُو صَالِحٍ : ذَكْوَانُ السَّمَّانُ ، وَأَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّوْسِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.”
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu Ahwas is Salam bin Salim, while Abu Husayn is ‘Uthman bin ‘Asim, and Abu Salih is Dhakwan bin Samman. As for Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), his name is ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr Dusi.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu Ahwas is Salam bin Salim, while Abu Husayn is ‘Uthman bin ‘Asim, and Abu Salih is Dhakwan bin Samman. As for Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), his name is ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr Dusi.
