Hadith 5005

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ " رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا بِخَرْصِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): He permitted the sale of ‘Araya based on estimation.
