Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade selling fruit until it becomes good. He was asked, "What is meant by 'becomes good'?" He replied, "Until it turns red." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "What do you think, if Allah withholds the fruit (its production), then on what basis would any one of you take his brother's wealth?"
