Hadith 4960

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَبِيعَنَّ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ، وَدَعُوا النَّاسَ يَرْزُقُ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No townsman should ever make a deal on behalf of a villager. Leave the people alone; Allah, the Exalted, will continue to provide for them through one another."
