ذكر الأمر للبيعين أن يلزما الصدق في بيعهما ويبينا عيبا علماه لأن ذلك سبب البركة في بيعهما-Command for sellers to be truthful and disclose known defects, as this brings blessing
Hadith 4904

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْهَاشِمِيِّ ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا ، فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا ، وَإِنْ كَذِبَا وَكَتَمَا مُحِقَ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا " .
Sayyiduna Hakeem bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Both the buyer and the seller have the option (to cancel the transaction) as long as they do not separate from each other. If both speak the truth and clarify (the details), there is blessing placed in their transaction. But if both lie and conceal (the defect of the goods), the blessing is erased from their transaction."
