Ata bin Abi Rabah narrates: Ubaid bin Umair and I set out. We presented ourselves before Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Ubaid bin Umair asked her about migration (hijrah), so she said: After the conquest of Makkah, migration no longer remains. (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) After today, it no longer remains. People used to come to Allah and His Messenger to protect their religion, lest they be put to trial. Then Allah Almighty spread Islam, now a servant can worship his Lord wherever he wishes.
