Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut’im reports: His father (Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im, may Allah be pleased with him) told him this: Once he was traveling with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and there were other people with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as well. This was after the return from the Battle of Hunayn. Some Bedouins surrounded the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and began asking from him. They forced the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) towards a samurah tree until his cloak was pulled off. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was mounted at that time. He stopped and said: Return my cloak to me. Do you fear miserliness from me? If all these branches were turned into blessings, I would distribute them all among you, and you would not find me miserly, cowardly, or a liar.
