Hadith 4697

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، فقال : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَرَضُونَ وَيَكْفِيكُمُ اللَّهُ ، فَلا يَعْجِزْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَلْهُوَ بِأَسْهُمِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Soon different regions will be conquered for you and Allah Almighty will suffice you, but no person should neglect the practice of archery."
