Hadith 4691

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ بِهَمَذَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الأَسَدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " سَابَقَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَبَقْتُهُ ، فَلَبِثْنَا حَتَّى إِِذَا أَرْهَقَنِي اللَّحْمُ سَابَقَنِي فَسَبَقَنِي ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذِهِ بِتِلْكَ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with me and I outran him. After some time, when my body became heavier, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with me again and he outran me. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is in return for that."
