Hadith 4668

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرِ إِِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Goodness has been placed in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
