Hadith 4610

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تَكَفَّلَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ ، لا يُخْرِجُهُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ إِِلا الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ وَتَصْدِيقُ كَلِمَتِهِ ، أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ ، أَوْ يَرْجِعَهُ إِِلَى مَسْكَنِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ مَعَ مَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرِ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Allah Almighty is the guarantor of the person who fights in His path, who leaves his house only to perform jihad and to affirm His word." (Allah Almighty is the guarantor that) He will admit that person into Paradise, or else return him to his home from where he departed, along with reward and spoils of war.
