Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the statement of his maternal aunt, Sayyidah Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her): One day, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slept at my place. When he woke up, he was smiling. I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Why are you smiling?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Some people from my Ummah were presented before me who were riding on the green sea just as kings sit on their thrones." Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Pray to Allah, the Exalted, that He includes me among them." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for that woman. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slept a second time, and the same thing happened. That woman said the same thing. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the same answer as before. That woman said, "Pray to Allah, the Exalted, that He includes me among them." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You are among the first ones." (The narrator states:) That woman went out to participate in jihad along with her husband, Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him). This was during the first battle in which the Muslims fought at sea during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him). When that woman returned from the battle, her mount was brought near her. She mounted it, but fell from it and passed away. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The grave of that woman is on an island in the Mediterranean Sea. That island is called Cyprus. It is a three-day journey from the Muslim lands to there.
