باب صلة الرحم وقطعها - ذكر تعجيل الله جل وعلا العقوبة للقاطع رحمه في الدنياChapter on Ties of Kinship and Severing Them – Allah hastens punishment in this world for one who severs family ties.
Hadith 456

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَحْرَى أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ اللَّهُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ ، مِنْ قَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ وَالْبَغْيِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no sin more deserving that Allah punishes its doer in this world, and also prepares punishment for him in the Hereafter, than severing ties of kinship and committing adultery."
