Hadith 455

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْغَطَفَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ ذَنْبٍ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ اللَّهُ لِصَاحِبِهِ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، مَعَ مَا يَدَّخِرُ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ ، مِنَ الْبَغِيِّ وَقَطِيعَةِ الرَّحِمِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no sin more deserving than adultery and severing of kinship ties for which Allah Almighty punishes its perpetrator in this world as well, and also keeps punishment prepared for him in the Hereafter."
