Hadith 4545

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى إِِقَامِ الصَّلاةِ ، وَإِِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I pledged allegiance to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on establishing prayer, giving zakat, and wishing well for every Muslim.
