Hadith 4539

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : إِِنَّ خَيَّاطًا دَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِطَعَامٍ صَنَعَهُ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَذَهَبْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَرَّبَ إِِلَيْهِ خُبْزًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ ، وَمَرَقًا فِيهِ دُبَّاءٌ وَقَدِيدٌ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَتَبَّعُ الدُّبَّاءَ مِنْ حَوَالَيِ الْقَصْعَةِ " . قَالَ : فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أُحِبُّ الدُّبَّاءَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A tailor invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He had prepared food for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I went with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bread made of barley and a broth in which there was pumpkin and meat. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) searching for pumpkin in the bowl. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: After that day, I always liked pumpkin.
