Hadith 4518

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيُؤَيِّدَنَّ اللَّهُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will support this religion even through a wicked person (i.e., a disbeliever or a sinful person)."
