Hadith 4488

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ هِيتًا كَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَلا يَعُدُّونَهُ مِنْ أُولِي الإِِرْبَةِ " فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَنْعَتُ امْرَأَةً ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : إِِنَّهَا إِِذَا أَقْبَلَتْ بِأَرْبَعٍ ، وَإِِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ أَدْبَرَتْ بِثَمَانٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا أَرَى هَذَا يَعْلَمُ مَا هَا هُنَا ؟ لا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُمْ " . وَأَخْرَجَهُ ، فَكَانَ بِالْبَيْدَاءِ يَدْخُلُ كُلَّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ يَسْتَطْعِمُ .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: He used to come and go to the houses of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). People thought that he had no carnal desire. One day, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to him while he was mentioning the beauty of a woman, saying that when she comes, she has four folds, and when she goes, she has eight folds. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Do I not see that he is aware of such things? He should not come to you." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had him removed from there, so he used to stay in the open field and would come every Friday to take food.
