Hadith 4486

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لا ظِلَّ إِِلا ظِلُّهُ : إِِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ ، وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ، وَرَجُلٌ ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ خَالِيًا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ ، وَرَجُلٌ كَانَ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، وَرَجُلانِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا ، وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتَ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ إِِلَى نَفْسِهَا ، فَقَالَ : إِِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ ، وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ يَمِينُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are seven people whom Allah will grant His shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His shade: a just ruler; a youth who grows up in the worship of Allah; a person whose heart remains attached to the mosque; two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting for that reason and parting for that reason; a man who is invited by a woman of status and beauty (to sin), but he says, 'I fear Allah'; a person who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent; and a person who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes overflow with tears."
