Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever takes care of two daughters, or three daughters, or two sisters, or three sisters, until they get married, or if that person passes away while still taking care of them, then I and that person will be in Paradise like this.” The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated this by joining his middle finger and the finger next to it. These words of the narration are as transmitted by Ibrahim bin Hasan ‘Allaf.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): “I and he will be in Paradise like these two,” refers to entering and preceding (in Paradise). It does not mean that the person who takes care of two daughters or two sisters will attain the same rank in Paradise as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
