Hadith 4456

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى مُنْتَهِبٍ قَطْعٌ ، وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " . أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ اسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ تَدْرُسَ الْمَكِّيُّ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hand of the snatcher will not be cut off, but whoever snatches something is not from among us." The narrator named Abu Zubair's name is Muhammad bin Tadris Makki.
