أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ رَدَّادٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ ، وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا اسْمًا مِنِ اسْمِي ، فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا ، وَصَلْتُهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا ، بَتَتُّهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says: "I am the Most Merciful (Rahman), I created the womb (rahm) and derived its name from My Name. Whoever joins it, I will join with him, and whoever severs it, I will cut him off."
