Hadith 4426

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خُذُوا عَنِّي ، قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلا الثَّيِّبُ بِالثَّيِّبِ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ ثُمَّ الرَّجْمُ ، وَالْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَيُنْفَيَانِ سَنَةً " .
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take the ruling from me. Allah Almighty has made the ruling clear for them. For a married person committing adultery with another married person, one hundred lashes will be given and then stoning will be carried out. Whereas for an unmarried man with an unmarried woman (in the case of adultery), one hundred lashes will be given and they will be exiled for one year."
