Hadith 4423

أَخْبَرَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ بِمِصْرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسِ ابْنِ آدَمَ كَتَبَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَى : الْعَيْنُ زِنَاؤُهَا النَّظَرُ ، وَالأُذُنُ زِنَاؤُهَا السَّمْعُ ، وَالْيَدُ زِنَاؤُهَا الْبَطْشُ ، وَالرِّجْلُ زِنَاؤُهَا الْمَشْيُ ، وَاللِّسَانُ زِنَاؤُهُ الْكَلامُ ، وَالْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى الشَّيْءَ ، وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ الْفَرْجُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A share of adultery has been decreed for every human being. The adultery of the eye is looking, the adultery of the ear is listening, the adultery of the hand is touching, the adultery of the feet is walking (towards it), the adultery of the tongue is speaking, and the heart desires and wishes, and the private parts either confirm or deny it."
