Hadith 4411

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَتَدْرُونَ مَنِ الْمُفْلِسُ ؟ " قَالُوا : الْمُفْلِسُ فِينَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ لا دِرْهَمَ لَهُ ، وَلا مَتَاعَ لَهُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُفْلِسُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِصَلاتِهِ وَصِيَامِهِ وَزَكَاتِهِ ، وَقَدْ شَتَمَ هَذَا ، وَأَكَلَ مَالَ هَذَا ، وَسَفَكَ دَمَ هَذَا ، وَضَرَبَ هَذَا ، فَيَقْعُدُ فَيُعْطَى هَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ ، وَهَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ ، فَإِِنْ فَنِيَتْ حَسَنَاتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ ، أَخَذَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ فَطُرِحَتْ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ طُرِحَ فِي النَّارِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" The people replied: O Messenger of Allah! Among us, the bankrupt is the one who has neither dirhams nor goods. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The bankrupt of my Ummah will be the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but he will have abused someone, usurped someone's wealth, shed someone's blood, or beaten someone. Then that person will be made to sit, and some of his good deeds will be given to one (whom he wronged), and some good deeds will be given to another (whom he wronged), until, before the dues are paid, all his good deeds will be exhausted. Then the sins of others will be placed upon him, and then he will be thrown into Hell."
