Hadith 4401

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا رَجَمَ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَتَخَضْخَضُ فِي أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had Sayyiduna Ma'iz bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) stoned, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have seen him swimming in the rivers of Paradise.
