Hadith 438

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُنْسَأَ لَهُ فِي أَجَلِهِ ، وَيُبْسَطَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ ، فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ " .
Ibn Shihab narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) stating that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes that his life be prolonged and his sustenance be increased, he should maintain the ties of kinship."
