Hadith 4371

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَسْرُوقُ بْنُ الْمَرْزُبَانِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا حِلْفَ فِي الإِِسْلامِ ، وَأَيُّمَا حِلْفٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الإِِسْلامُ إِِلا شِدَّةً " .
Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “There is no status of making alliances in Islam, and any alliance that belongs to the time of ignorance, Islam only increases its severity.”
