ذكر كتبة الله جل وعلا الحسنة للتارك يمينه بأخذ ما هو خير منه-God records a good deed for one who leaves his oath for something better
Hadith 4344

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى مُلْكِ يَمِينِهِ أَنْ يَضْرِبَهُ ، فَكَفَّارَتُهُ تَرَكُهُ ، وَمَعَ الْكَفَّارَةِ حَسَنَةٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever swears an oath regarding his slave that he will beat him, then its expiation is that he abandons this act, and along with the expiation, this is also a good deed."
