Hadith 4298

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ ، قَالَ : " وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِأَيَّامٍ قَلائِلَ ، فَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ فِي النِّكَاحِ ، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Subai’ah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to a child a few days after her husband passed away. She came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to marry, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted her permission.
