Hadith 4275

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ بِعُكْبَرَا ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَسْرُوقُ بْنُ الْمَرْزُبَانِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " طَلَّقَ حَفْصَةُ ، ثُمَّ رَاجَعَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) divorced Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), then he (peace and blessings be upon him) took her back.
