Hadith 4240

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْخَيْوَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ إِِثْمًا أَنْ يُضَيِّعَ مَنْ يَقُوتُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is sufficient for a man to be considered sinful that he does not fulfill the expenses of those whose maintenance is his responsibility."
