Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) complained about Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not realize that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) would react so harshly as he did. (Upon hearing this complaint) Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) raised his hand and slapped Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and pushed her on the chest (by striking with his hand). The Prophet (peace be upon him) felt regret over this and said: O Abu Bakr, after today I will never complain to you (about Aisha) again.
