أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ خُلِقَتْ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ ، فَإِنْ أَقَمْتَهَا كَسَرْتَهَا ، فَدَارِهَا تَعِشْ بِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, woman was created from a rib. If you try to straighten her, you will break her. Live with her while taking this into consideration."
