أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : دَخَلَ حَائِطًا مِنْ حَوَائِطِ الأَنْصَارِ ، فَإِذَا فِيهِ جَمَلانِ يَضْرِبَانِ وَيَرْعَدَانِ فَاقْتَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهُمَا ، فَوَضَعَا جِرَانَهُمَا بِالأَرْضِ ، فَقَالَ مَنْ مَعَهُ : سَجَدَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأَحَدٍ ، وَلَوْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأَحَدٍ لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا لِمَا عَظَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ حَقِّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered a garden of the Ansar where two camels were being beaten and scolded. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) approached them, they lowered their necks to the ground. The companion who was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: They have prostrated to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is not appropriate for any person to prostrate to another. If it were appropriate for anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded a woman to prostrate to her husband, because Allah Almighty has made the right of the husband great.
