Hadith 4121

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّ رِفَاعَةَ بْنَ سَمَوْءَلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ تَمِيمَةَ بِنْتَ وَهْبٍ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلاثًا ، فَنَكَحَهَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَمَسَّهَا ، فَفَارَقَهَا ، فَأَرَادَ رِفَاعَةُ أَنْ يَنْكِحَهَا ، وَهُوَ زَوْجُهَا الأَوَّلُ الَّذِي كَانَ طَلَّقَهَا ، فَذَكَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَهَاهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا ، وَقَالَ : " لا تَحِلُّ لَكَ حَتَّى تَذُوقَ الْعُسَيْلَةَ " .
Zubair bin Abdur Rahman narrates: Sayyiduna Rifa’ah bin Samwal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave his wife Tamimah bint Wahb three divorces during the blessed time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Then Abdur Rahman bin Zubair married this woman, but he could not have intercourse with her, so he separated from her. Rifa’ah intended to marry this woman again—he was her first husband who had divorced her. He mentioned this matter to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade him from marrying this woman. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: This woman will not be lawful for you until she tastes the honey (of another husband).
